Bank for International Settlements
The client wanted a course tailored to cover the specific accounting issues related to their planned PP&E activities.
We had a call in advance to review PP&E activities the bank planned to undertake and discussed the various types of costs that may be incurred. In the session, we applied the principles in IAS 16 (capitalize or expense costs, subsequent measurement), IAS 36 (impairment) to their specific activities, and also discussed areas where judgement and estimates may be required.
The in-person training covering client's specific issues was well received by participants from both finance and non-finance teams.
European University Institute
The client wanted practical insights on IPSAS 43 Leases based on specific terms in their contracts to help them implement the new standard.
We had a call with the client before the course to understand the type of contracts that could be potentially leases under IPSAS 43 and discussed the terms and conditions. Based on this a tailored approach was adopted to provide one-day virtual training (spread across two half-days) using relevant case studies.
Feedback from participants was that we were able to discuss answers for questions related to the organisation in a very clear and accurate way.

Beyond the Numbers: Sustainability Reporting
21 May, 2026 • In Person
Saket kindly came forward and delivered an excellent presentation on Sustainability Accounting, looking at the provisions of IFRS and other standards. This was part of a CIMA event held in Woking at the WWF headquarters. His presentation was very well received by the participants, it was clear and insightful, delivered with humour and at a good pace and it was a really fantastic overview of the principles of this reporting. We only had a short time to explore the subject but Saket's knowledge and experience is clearly very deep and I highly recommend Saket for any course or implementation you might be looking for.
