Why We Do This Work

We call this The BAG We Carry™:
- Beliefs: the beliefs we internalize about ourselves, others, or what’s possible, often shaped by our past experiences, culture, and sometimes trauma.
- Assumptions: the assumptions that keep those beliefs in place, usually operating under the surface and influencing our decisions before we even realize it.
- Guardians: the protective habits or inner voices—like the inner critic, perfectionism, or the urge to avoid conflict—that try to keep us safe, but can also keep us stuck.
These are known as incompletions: unresolved grievances, regrets, resentments, and broken agreements that distort how people experience the present and quietly shape their future.
