ACUDEMY LIMITED

Verified Expert

Organisations don't underperform because of strategy. They underperform because of capability gaps — in their people, their teams, and the cultures that shape how work actually gets done. At Acudemy, our work starts from a simple premise: when you invest in the right skills at the right level, performance follows.

We are a UK-based professional training organisation established in 2014, with a track record of developing capability across technical, leadership and behavioural disciplines for over 300 organisations across the UK and internationally. We work with businesses and institutions to design and deliver learning that builds real, lasting competence in the people who drive performance day to day.

Our work spans payroll and finance, project and change management, digital skills, leadership and management, workplace wellbeing and continuous improvement. These disciplines reflect the breadth of capability that modern organisations need to function well, adapt quickly and sustain strong results. Every programme we deliver is built around practical application, because the measure of learning is what changes when people return to work.

We hold accreditations and partnerships with CMI, PRINCE2, AgilePM, Lean Six Sigma, CIPD, IAB, ITIL and Sage, and our programmes are designed to align with the real environments and pressures our clients face. Delivery is flexible — classroom, virtual, on-site or blended — shaped around your organisation rather than a fixed schedule.

What we offer

Technical and compliance capability — payroll, finance, HR and IT programmes that build precision, confidence and regulatory literacy across your teams.

Leadership and management development — practical programmes that strengthen how your managers lead, make decisions and create conditions for performance.

Digital and analytical skills — Excel, Power BI, AI literacy and broader digital capability built for the modern professional environment.

Behavioural and organisational development — DEI, mental health awareness, resilience and soft skills that strengthen culture, communication and team performance.

Why organisations work with Acudemy

Our clients include Barclays, BT, British American Tobacco, DFDS, FlixBus, Thames Water and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), among many others across the public, private and third sectors. Our trainers bring direct industry experience alongside instructional expertise, and our programmes are consistently rated for the quality of facilitation and the practicality of what delegates take away.

We understand that a training investment only has value if it changes how people perform. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every engagement — and why the organisations we work with continue to come back.

Our mission is to help organisations build the skilled, capable and confident people they need to perform and grow. Our vision is to be the development partner that organisations return to, programme after programme and year after year.

AI First Training

Verified Expert

AI First Training delivers expert-led classroom, online, and on-site training in Claude AI for businesses. Every course is built around practical, hands-on instruction for real-world workflows — not abstract AI theory — and taught by practitioners who use Claude in their own businesses every day.

The course catalogue covers the full spectrum of Claude adoption: the Claude for Business series (101, 201, and Masterclass) for teams building AI-powered ways of working, the Claude Code series for those developing technical build skills with Claude, and focused one-day specialist modules — Claude for SMEs, Claude for Design, Claude for Marketing, and Claude for Sales — for role-specific application. Bespoke and executive programmes are also available, tailored to a company's specific tools, workflows, and goals.

Training is delivered flexibly — classroom (capped at 10 participants for close instructor attention), live online, one-to-one, or on-site/corporate — with public course locations in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, and Plymouth. Every course includes a free resit if unsatisfied, 30 days of post-training support, and recording access for all participants, so learning continues well beyond the training day itself.

AISensa

About AISensa Academy

Many firms hold back on AI adoption because they're not sure how to enable it safely. Our training shows you how to enable AI within your company without losing control of the risk.

AISensa Academy provides AI literacy training for regulated firms: law firms, accountancy practices and financial services businesses that need their teams trained on AI governance and compliance, not just AI tools.

We train two audiences:

  1. general staff, on safe day-to-day AI use, data handling, and verifying AI output before relying on it
  2. senior managers and compliance officers, on regulatory mapping, human oversight, DPIAs, vendor risk, and building an evidence trail regulators can inspect

The Business Case for AI Governance Training

Untrained AI use is no longer a hypothetical risk. The EU AI Act's AI literacy obligation has applied since February 2025.

In accountancy, the FRC's 2025 guidance on AI in audit and ICAEW's revised Code of Ethics both point to the same gap: junior staff are often the ones interacting most with AI tools, and firms need a real training framework, not just a policy, to manage that responsibly.

In financial services, the FCA has been directly asking firms how they oversee AI, test and monitor its outputs, and explain AI-driven decisions to customers, while confirming that existing senior manager accountability (SM&CR) already covers AI, whether a firm has trained for it or not.

And in legal, the pattern repeats: in 2025, the SRA fined 35 firms for AML and governance failings; unrelated to AI, but the same evidentiary gap AI governance now creates: a policy existed, but the firm couldn't evidence it was followed. Separately, UK solicitors have faced regulatory referral over AI-fabricated citations reaching court filings unverified.

Across all three sectors, the pattern is identical: the accountability already sits with your firm. Training is how you close the gap before a regulator, auditor, or insurer asks you to.

Who We're Built For

Legal — Where client matter confidentiality is a governance obligation, not a courtesy. Training is framed around Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and Law Society of Scotland supervision expectations, the professional duty to verify AI-assisted work before it reaches a client or a court, and the practical realities of Court of Protection and litigation practice.

Accountancy — Where client financial data volume and Financial Reporting Council (FRC) obligations mean AI adoption and compliance risk are the same conversation. Training is framed around evidencing client data governance alongside the productivity case for AI-assisted work.

Financial Services — Where FCA-regulated firms (Financial Conduct Authority) carry audit-trail and customer-outcome obligations for any AI-assisted decision. Training is framed around Consumer Duty, individualised review trails, and demonstrable oversight.

Our Approach

We are translators, not certifiers. ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, and sector guidance from the SRA, FRC and FCA are dense and written for specialists. Our job is to convert that into training your teams can act on, not a compliance lecture.

Our syllabus is benchmarked against ISO/IEC 42001, the EU AI Act, UK GDPR, and guidance from the SRA, LSS, FCA, PRA and FCA, and further checked against academic frameworks including LSE's AI Law, Policy and Governance programme, so the content stands on the same regulatory ground taught at postgraduate level, translated for practical use.

Training is tiered by seniority. General staff and senior managers each get a distinct track, mirroring the AML training model regulated firms already run.

What We Offer

  • Tier A: General User Awareness — safe day-to-day AI use, data handling, prohibited and high-risk uses, verifying AI output before relying on it
  • Tier B: Senior Manager & Compliance Officer — regulatory mapping, human oversight and Article 22, DPIAs, vendor risk, evidencing accountability, building a competency matrix
  • Self-paced online training via LCMS, with certificate on completion
  • Live, collaborative sessions via Teams
  • In-person half-day and full-day training, delivered on-site

Why Firms Choose AISensa Academy

  • A syllabus benchmarked against ISO 42001, the EU AI Act, and sector regulator guidance, not generic AI-skills content
  • Built and delivered by the team building AISensa, a governed AI platform purpose-built for regulated professional services — this is practitioner knowledge grounded in real regulatory work, not generic AI training
  • A senior manager track that produces an actual evidence trail, not just a certificate
  • We train AI governance and compliance only — we don't dilute this with broad AI-skills or productivity training

Our Mission

AISensa Academy is part of AISensa: the governed AI platform for organisations that need AI governance to be real: enforceable, evidenceable, and on the side of the people doing the work. Our training exists to build the human capability that makes that governance actually work.

Alumno Consulting

(55 reviews)
Verified Expert

AI training is everywhere right now. Firms are spending huge sums on Copilot, prompt engineering, workflow automation and AI productivity programmes.

The problem is that too much of it is being bought in a rush.

A course title sounds right. A provider sounds credible. A demo looks impressive. Everyone leaves knowing a few prompts. Then, three weeks later, behaviour has barely changed.

Alumno Consulting helps financial services firms avoid that trap.

We design and deliver AI training that is practical, engaging, industry-specific and focused on long-term behaviour change. The objective is not simply to teach people what Copilot, ChatGPT or other AI tools can do. The objective is to help them use those tools confidently, safely and repeatedly in the real work they do every day.

That means learning AI in context: financial markets, banking, asset management, risk, regulation, Excel, presentations, client work, research, analysis, meetings and workflow redesign.

With over 30 years of financial services training experience, 80,000+ delegates trained, and experience with 9 of the 10 largest investment banks, we understand both sides of the problem: the technology and the people who need to use it.

Our sessions are interactive, energetic and memorable because that is how learning sticks. AI training should not be generic, passive or forgettable. It should change what people do when they get back to their desks.

If your firm is investing in AI capability, make sure the money turns into changed behaviour, better workflows and measurable confidence, not just another course people attended.
