About
Joanna Taylor is an Accredited Neurolinguistic Psychotherapist, Wellbeing Coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, Author, and Trainer. Her training specialises in resilience, wellbeing, emotional agility and communication skills, with a particular expertise in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Mindful Communication, and self-awareness. Joanna has delivered wellbeing and communication training to organisations such as Generali, Nedbank Trust and the Medical Specialist Group in Guernsey; FTA Law, Vermilion Dental Group and the National Trust, among others across the UK. She has also trained countless individuals in the therapeutic, coaching, and dental professions. Since 2009, she has designed and facilitated personal and professional development courses, workshops, and retreats, supporting professionals to strengthen relationships and restore emotional balance. Based in rural North Yorkshire, Joanna shares her home with her husband John, a dentist, and their four dogs—affectionately known as her “canine members of staff”—who often feature in her blog The Teachings of Dog. An international speaker, she has written extensively on stress and burnout, with articles published in dental and veterinary journals. Joanna is an accredited professional member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and a Fellow of the Association for Coaching (AC).
