ICA Associates Inc.

ICA Associates Inc. is a training and consulting firm that specializes in designing and leading inclusive, participatory group processes. ICAA was established in 1999 as a social enterprise by the Canadian Charity called the Institute of Cultural Affairs and licensed by them to teach the body of knowledge known as the Technology of Participation or ToP Methods in Canada. ICAA has the most extensive curriculum on the topic and equips people to become experts who can orchestrate entire events that inspire participation, build consensus, reach well-considered conclusion, and, let's be honest, change the world a little bit at a time. Several training programs are officially endorsed by the professional association, the International Association of Facilitators (IAF), because ICAA has proven that its training speaks to IAF's competency model. In Canada, ICAA has a network of about a dozen trainers and almost 20 consultants to draw upon from coast to coast. ICAA has a formal relationship with Yin Dao Jia in China, and collegial relationships with sister ICAs around the world.
