Harriet Patience-Davies

Harriet Patience-Davies is the former UK Storytelling Coach for Accenture and has been teaching storytelling to businesspeople for five years. She is a published writer, journalist, and credited screenwriter and was invited to contribute an article to the Writers and Artists Yearbook 2021 which has been retained for all editions published since. Since 2019 Hari has developed and delivered storytelling and presentation skills training. At first this was for Accenture, delivering in-person training and then converting that same training to virtual within 3 weeks of the UK Covid lockdown. In October 2020 Hari launched her own training company, Patience Davies Consulting, delivering storytelling, presentation skills and facilitation training to clients in the UK and overseas. Notable clients include HSBC, Siemens, Which?, Capgemini, GoCompare and Google. Hari has over 15 years’ experience of digital delivery and product creation from both agency and client sides, including 5 years as an Accenture digital consultant, and 3 years as the co-founder and storytelling coach for Patience Davies Consulting. Harriet has presented at the 2019 and 2020 Confluence storytelling and technology conferences as well as Accenture’s Digital World 2019 conference and many others. Hari is a certified facilitator of LEGO® Serious Play® and an accredited Design Thinking facilitator and understands how storytelling is a key part of these popular innovation and strategy tools.
