Mental Health First Aid for Adults

I found the last two days to be incredibly informative and feel I have learnt so much that I will take forward both in my professional life and my personal life. Mike was an exceptional teacher. He explained things well, went at a great pace and put everyone at ease when dealing with some of the more sensitive topics. The course information was well presented and the online resources were easy to assess and will be a valuable tool to take away from the session. An excellent couple of days. Thank you! I found this course massively helpful and informative. I have learnt so many new skills and developed existing ones. I would say the reading material was difficult for someone who is dyslexic but I did manage. Maybe an idea to make it easier for other people with a learning difference is to add a function of a text to speech tool on the online version of the manual. But other then that everything was amazing! [Imported MHFA England feedback. I thought the course was excellent, however I felt I needed more time for the self-study activities - sometimes there are 15 minutes of videos and 10-15 pages of reading to do as well as completion of the exercises, to complete in an hour and I felt this was difficult to achieve without cutting short my lunch break. However the manual is excellent and the instructor was fantastic, what matters the most is I have the manual to refer to and read properly when I wish. I thought the course was very well structured and delivered considering the amount of content and the nature of topics covered.I liked that the topics are explored but not so much so in the live sessions that conversations waste too much time or lead to participants potentially being affected/triggered by the content (we can go away and complete further reading in our own time and space).I found the course book very useful and particularly like the resources sections where you can find additional support for mental health. It will no doubt lead to further interest for me to do further research and learn as much as possible about mental health conditions and how to help. Really insightful course. Just thought some content was a bit brief and could've been discussed for longer. [Imported MHFA England feedback.
